How can hummingbirds build their nest on a clotheline . Its in a full view of our bedroom window. However, there’s two (2) big beautiful colored birds trying to destroy the nest. I just pity the tiny hummingbirds who tirelessly bring small scraps in building their nest on a very unlikely clothesline instead of building their nest up on the many surrounding trees . Your food for thoughts greatly appreciated .

Wow! A thrill of a lifetime!
I found a tiny hummingbird at the sidewalk next to the front door at the church. It had apparently flown into the glass door and was stunned. It was laying in his back and just barely moving.
I picked it up and held it for awhile inside the church while it was stunned. Then I went outside with it. It finally started moving its feet so I opened my hand and it just sat there. Once in awhile its wings would buzz but it stayed on my hand. I felt like it was thanking me. It was like a spiritual connection. A feeling that it trusted me to help it and knew I was a calm and tender presence.
After about 10 minutes, it finally it flew away.
I have a hummingbird nest on my front porch light! Last year 2 babies hatched and moved on! Now she’s back preparing to lay eggs again! I feel so blessed that she trusts me enough to come back again! Love seeing the babies and her coming and going! The wonder of nature!! 💗
I’ve been seeing hummingbirds off and on for a few years now and they’ve had flown right up to my window in my living room and pressed up against the window to look at me they’re beautiful birds they’re very quiet they don’t stay very long but they let you know that they’re present I know that there’s something spiritual about them because I felt it in my own spirit I love hummingbirds and they should be allowed to stay free no one should try to cage them up and keep them in a cage they’re God’s gift to us and we need to let them go free and do their jobs thank you Lord for bringing these hummingbirds into our lives and teaching us what the word love really means thank you hummingbirds for being so beautiful and coming and going as you do there are those who appreciate the hummingbird and will always be endured by them
